We hope you are doing cozy and good.
Even while I am writing the blog this Wednesday my hands are numb. Since the weather forecast says that the mercury will fall further,  so to help you out we are here we have 2 Winter looks for you.

One is a duster coat look and the other is a poncho look. Duster coats are practical, smart and we just cant do without them, this winter because they are an on trend piece of clothing.
If you’re looking for  boho vibe, skip the jacket and make a poncho your go-to layering piece. You can wear with  jeans and a tee or turtleneck, it’s cozy and comfortable.

Boisterous Bikers

Happy New Year guys!
Hope you have kick started your new year with all your positive energy and strength and may it remain like that all year long. Year after year the one thing that never got out of style is the biker jacket. No other jacket has been able to give them competition whether on the runway or when it comes to street style. The biker jacket has been and will remain that stand alone piece to always get all the attention.

Even though it’s a classic piece, its appearance has been tweaked around with quite a bit- already being studded, cropped or quilted, now spray painted is the new form .
They add an urban edge to a simple outfit and with the colorful versions coming up they have transformed from rebellious to cheerful.

Layer it on!

 Hello fashionlovers,
We hope you’re enjoying the not here-yet here winters. Are you also confused most of the time on how to dress when leaving the house in morning; because its hardly chilly after 11 am and then there is a breeze of chilly winds in the evening. We definitely are!
So to ease it out for you we have come up with 2 options for you. One is light layering which is styled by P and the other is layering with fur jackets over high-necks styled by S.

_DSC3582.jpg

_dsc3594

P layered with a long length shrug. A shrug is the most versatile piece of clothing in your winter wardrobe. You can wear it with dress, with jeans or even trousers for that matter. P wore it with a choker top and distressed denims. She styled it with combat boots. You can wear this look for dinner or a date night.

_dsc3695

_DSC3707.jpg

_DSC3716.jpg

Turtle neck is something that you can pull off throughout winters. The best part about it is you can wear as it is and style it differently as a basic under your layers. S styled it with a half-sleeves fur jacket and a mini skirt. This is the best way to wear it in this confused weather; you can remove the fur layering and still look chic. S wore adidas superstars with it for a casual look. You can wear heels and boots to dress it up.

Swinter Style

Hello guys,

Don’t you think that Delhi weather is too unpredictable; its chilly early morning, then hot in the afternoon and then chilly again by evening. Summer to winter transitional phase is still going on and we’re unable to pack our beautiful summer dresses and make space for winter stuff. For now we’ve decided to just let them be as any ways they don’t occupy much space, so that we can pair them up with winter accessories and boots.
_DSC3236.jpg
_DSC3247.jpg
Transitional dressing can be tricky but by incorporating your warm-weather essentials into your fall rotation, you can reap maximum benefit from the investment in your clothes.
_DSC3266.jpg
_DSC3267.jpg
There are many ways to style your summer dresses. You can layer it with coats or shrugs. Add stockings and accessories, or just wear them like P and S wore.
_DSC3350.jpg
_DSC3344.jpg
_DSC3389.jpg
P wore a solid white dress with black ankle boots. This look its all about how you style your scarf. She draped a quirky elephant print pink scarf around her and knotted it in front.

S wore a floral dress with a summer scarf and knee length boots. This works best for the morning, but in the evening you can layer it with a shrug or coat so that you don’t feel cold.

Wear your heart on your sleeve!

Hello fashionistas!
It’s fall out there but it seems like the spring trends are here to stay. The sleeves and the shoulders were the centers of attention this year. Looks like your shoulders won’t be the focus anymore because of the chilly weather so now its time for the sleeves to shine.
From tops to sweaters, summer dresses to knitted dresses they have been everywhere. And we cant complain, since its our favorite trend too.
_dsc2840
_DSC2826.jpg
Whether its a ruffle bell sleeve, baby bell sleeves or the dramatic over sized sleeve; its time to wear it all.

P wore a bell sleeve shirt with cool distressed denims and metallic loafers. She accessorized with a metallic candy bag and added a small tassel at the last hook of the shirt. The key to the look is to keep your clothing simple and combine it with metallics. For plus size women  this rend is a boon- the silhouette draws all the attention from the arms and doesn’t make them look fat.
Try and wear full or three fourth sleeves rather than elbow-sleeves as the later makes arms look fat. P’s look is perfect to wear in the evening or for an intimate dinner.

S wore a ruffled mid length top with distressed denims, but she accessorized it in a sporty way by opting for a sling bag and white superstar sneakers. S’s look is perfect for airports, vacations, colleges etc. Its important to balance the over sized proportions with slightly fitted jeans. Avoid baggy or flared jeans.

Cold Shoulder Twinning

Hope you enjoyed Diwali and Bhai Dooj and got inspired from our looks. Today in our post we are enjoying the fall season in our cold shoulder dresses.
FYI, buying the same dress was not our criteria for the purchase decision. We just accidentally bought the same dress. And we thought it would be so cool to style the dress with our own personal aesthetics.

The trend for sure has a lasting power, and cold shoulder has become the new cleavage, smoothly making its way from summer to fall to winter.

P wore a camouflage colored dress with an embedded links choker and pointed flats.
The metallic flats add to the look and the make up was kept minimal. P’s look is good to go for shopping or even a formal day out.

S wore a pastel lavender color dress with a fringed beaded neck piece and tie-up sandals. Her look is very boho and raw. Its perfect to wear for vacation.

Desi Diwali Look

It’s Diwali week and we are enjoying it thoroughly. Its all about dressing up, attending parties, playing cards and maximizing the fun. Diwali brings in enthusiasm and a festive feel that no other Indian festival incites.

_DSC2433.jpg

_dsc2430

_DSC2407.jpg

Usually when we’re are choosing colors to wear for Diwali, what comes to our mind is bright shades of red. yellow or orange. Although they do look the best; there is no harm in experimenting with pastel shades of green and pinks like olive or rose gold. They are already the most celebrated colors of the season and will also make great outfits as long you accessorize correctly.

_dsc2319

_DSC2313.jpg

P’s choice was to keep it subtle this Diwali with earthy colours and minimal work. She completed her look with jhoomar earrings.
She played a little extra with her makeup as her outfit was subtle. She went for a blue eyeliner and bold dark.
_DSC2348.jpg

_DSC2340.jpg

_DSC2358.jpg

S wore an Indo-western outfit, bright orange with zardozi work. If traditional ain’t your thing go fusion! Indian outfits with a western twist are good to wear for festivals if they are in bright colors. She completed her look with traditional Indian jhumkis and a potli bag adding that much needed traditional touch to her look.
S wore neutral lips with highlighted winged eyes. Her makeup was dewy and fresh.
_DSC2393.jpg
You can also choose a no fuss outfit too. Wear your kurta and leggings, add on a pretty bandhej or lehariya dupatta and accessorize with juttis. You can go with your style, whether it’s minimal or out there.
Get all dressed up as the festivals of light is waiting for you in all its glory.

We wish you a very happy and fashionable Diwali!
