Happy New Year guys!

Hope you have kick started your new year with all your positive energy and strength and may it remain like that all year long. Year after year the one thing that never got out of style is the biker jacket. No other jacket has been able to give them competition whether on the runway or when it comes to street style. The biker jacket has been and will remain that stand alone piece to always get all the attention.

Even though it’s a classic piece, its appearance has been tweaked around with quite a bit- already being studded,cropped or quilted, now spray painted is the new form .

They add an urban edge to a simple outfit and with the colorful versions coming up they have transformed from rebellious to cheerful.

P wore the jacket with a pastel top and distressed denim for a chic brunch look. The side pony tail and dark lips added an edge to her look.

S added some touches of grunge to her look. She wore distressed denims and accessorized it with black boots and dark lips

Layer it on!

 Hello fashionlovers,

We hope you’re enjoying the not here-yet here winters. Are you also confused most of the time on how to dress when leaving the house in morning; because its hardly chilly after 11 am and then there is a breeze of chilly winds in the evening. We definitely are!

So to ease it out for you we have come up with 2 options for you. One is light layering which is styled by P and the other is layering with fur jackets over high-necks styled by S.

P layered with a long length shrug. A shrug is the most versatile piece of clothing in your winter wardrobe. You can wear it with dress, with jeans or even trousers for that matter. P wore it with a choker top and distressed denims. She styled it with combat boots. You can wear this look for dinner or a date night.

Turtle neck is something that you can pull off throughout winters. The best part about it is you can wear as it is and style it differently as a basic under your layers. S styled it with a half-sleeves fur jacket and a mini skirt. This is the best way to wear it in this confused weather; you can remove the fur layering and still look chic. S wore adidas superstars with it for a casual look. You can wear heels and boots to dress it up.

Swinter Style

How are doing?

Don’t you think that Delhi weather is too unpredictable; its chilly early morning, then hot in the afternoon and then chilly again by evening. Summer to winter transitional phase is still going on and we’re unable to pack our beautiful summer dresses and make space for winter stuff. For now we’ve decided to just let them be as any ways they don’t occupy much space, so that we can pair them up with winter accessories and boots.

Transitional dressing can be tricky but by incorporating your warm-weather essentials into your fall rotation, you can reap maximum benefit from the investment in your clothes.

There are many ways to style your summer dresses. You can layer it with coats or shrugs. Add stockings and accessories, or just wear them like P and S wore.

P wore a solid white dress with black ankle boots. This look its all about how you style your scarf. She draped a quirky elephant print pink scarf around her and knotted it in front.

S wore a floral dress with a summer scarf and knee length boots. This works best for the morning, but in the evening you can layer it with a shrug or coat so that you don’t feel cold.

Cold Shoulder Twinning

Hello girls!

Hope you enjoyed Diwali and Bhai Dooj and got inspired from our looks. Today in our post we are enjoying the fall season in our cold shoulder dresses.

FYI, buying the same dress was not our criteria for the purchase decision. We just accidentally bought the same dress. And we thought it would be so cool to style the dress with our own personal aesthetics.

The trend for sure has a lasting power, and cold shoulder has become the new cleavage, smoothly making its way from summer to fall to winter.

P wore a camouflage colored dress with an embedded links choker and pointed flats.

The metallic flats add to the look and the make up was kept minimal. P’s look is good to go for shopping or even a formal day out.

S wore a pastel lavender color dress with a fringed beaded neck piece and tie-up sandals. Her look is very boho and raw. Its perfect to wear for vacation.

Green Flash

This Wednesday we are going green.

Even though the majority of the 2016 pallete celebrates calmness with rose quartz and serenity. We still cant avoid the importance of the natural hue green. The colour has its own radiance and openness, that makes the outfit stand out immediately. The shade that we cant seem to ignore at all is the mineral colour emerald green.

P decided not to wear a full green. Instead, she choose to incline towards the blue family and wore a printed green-blue dress. Her look is Bohemian, relaxed and casual. This tassel dress with tie up espadrilles are a good option for going to college or a casual day out.

Its good to wear a printed dress if you are plus sized as it draws attention towards the prints and take away the attention from the curves making you look slimmer.

And there is no denying that to accentuate your curves, body hugging clothes are the best.

S wore a green solid romper: it’s chic and classy, perfect to wear to a party. The key to ace the party look is the makeup. So, if you keep the makeup minimal you can also wear the same romper in the day for shopping or brunch.

Dawn to Dusk : Casual to Party

How are you doing this Wednesday?

We hope you liked P’s day to night look. Today’s post is about how S styled her skirt from day to night. If you’ll notice, the colour palette of both P’s and S’s look are same: olive,black,white being the dominant colors.

The key to style your look to day to night is to take an easy center piece, so that you can wear it at any time of the day and also keep it chic around the clock.

Skirts are a crucial part of our outfit and there’s nothing more attractive than a double duty skirt.

So, just save your money and spend it on the weekend sipping wine while looking glamorous as ever.

Day look

S’s idea of day look is perfect to wear for vacation or for day shopping with friends. She paired the skirt with simple yet twisted batwing sleeves. She styled with it with beige creepers and a sling bag. The metallic sling bag elevated the look.

Makeup and Hair

 

Simple open hair with a few twisties on both sides are perfect for the day. Pastel pink lips and a dewy look is apt to complete the look.

Night look

S styled the skirt with a crop top and layered it with a bomber jacket. Layering is a crucial element when it comes to changing look. A sober look can be converted into glam just by adding a sheer piece of clothing. The translucent jacket and the embellished double layered choker adds to the outfit. Tie up pointed heels adds definition to the look.

Makeup and Hair

S made a half top knot with dark lips and smokey eyes. Sometimes at night you can defy the rule that smokey eyes just go with nude or light lip colours. You can go with a bold lip colour but you have to strike a balance between your eyes and lips. Instead of heavily loaded eyes, a simple smokey look using just one colour is good to go.

This Wednesday is all about the pop colour. Its about going basic and adding a twist to your outfit by injecting a colour. Your summer outfits are no more just about whites and blacks. Adding one tone of colour can brighten up your outfit.Forget about the old rule that bold colours don’t go well with black. Its finally time to move over and go bright.

Even though holi is over, its never a bad time to splash some colour. It’s the perfect example of a minimalistic yet classy ensemble. One signature colour is all you need to get this look. It can be a piece of clothing or accessories, the choice is yours! Keep everything else minimal. 

P went all white with a pop of neon yellow. The uniqueness of her look come from the neon pointed flats and the DIY transparent neon bag.

S wore all black with a neon pink denim jacket. The quirky loafers combined with the jacket add life to her simple LBD.

Mad over Sunset Palette

How are you doing? Its pouring heavily in Delhi and the traffic congestion has almost consumed our life. In days like this we cant help but remember our holidays to the beach. Doing this has made us obsessed with the beautiful sunset palette and its all our inspiration for today’s post. The vivid hues and transition from yellow to orange is just breathtaking. 

One of the great things about orange is that it can be both autumnal and summery, depending on what you pair it with. It’s a great colour to invest in as you can wear it all year round. And of course you can choose your perfect shade, as the options are unlimited.

P choose a sun drenched orange shade. Her look is girly and flirty, perfect for a date out. The ruffles add softness to the midi length dress. She paired it with serenity peep toes and a black bag to break the monotony of the colour.

S chose a colour from the ombré created by the glowing sunset hues making it quite difficult to give a name. Her look is perfect for a sun kissed summer holiday or a romantic date at night. S choose a ruffled off shoulder crop top with distressed denims and completed her look with a quirky printed candy bag and the perfectly color blocked heels.

How are you  doing?

In this complicated lifestyle there is something reassuring about the the simple black and white. Its’s modern, cool yet edgy but never on the face. It combines calmness and serenity with sophistication and sleekness.  Its also a fresh start to the monochromes. Coming out from the dual tone and finally abiding by the meaning.

All Black is a classic, it can never ever go out of fashion. What’s new in the house of fashion is the much celebrated All White look.

P wore a white on white or an all white. This summer inspired trend is not going anywhere for sure. All-white is incredibly fresh,refined, elegant and luxurious. It has all the qualities to make us love the look. Her look screams boho. Wavy hair, embroidered tie up white dress with embellished sandals. To add to the boho element are the silver spiked hoops making it perfect for a vacation look or a casual day out.

To look effortlessly chic yet classy you have to go the all black way. The look sported by S, its simple and clean yet out there. She wore a black crop top with a black pleated trouser and bomber jacket and accessorized it with black pumps and metallic clutch. All black combined with pleats please is the best way to wear the 2 biggest trend of the season.To give her look a lift S added a twisted pony tail which  adds a fun element to her party look.

There is no rule on when to wear the look. You can wear a all white in day or at night. Also all black is definitely not bound by any rule.

In case you are confused on what to wear. I would say it depends on your eating habbits (pun intended). If you dont want to think  about where you sit, what you eat, what you drink just choose black. Ok no seriously, just go by your style and choose what you like.

Are you enjoying the monsoons or already sick of it because you cant manage to reach work on time due to the (NOT SO ) great the traffic conditions. To add to this congestion time is the time we take to figure out what to wear to work.

P choose a monochrome shift dress amalgamating two of the biggest trends of the season-monochrome and shift dresses; a classic addition to your wardrobe. S’s look is her view on the perfect Internship wear. By making subtle adjustments to her weekend wardrobe, her look is edgy yet perfect to wear when interning in a fashion house or a publication.
