The mercury is finally dropping! The temperature is dropping and we can finally say that Winter is finally here and we can feel the chills. 

We hope you are doing cozy and good.

Even while I am writing the blog this Wednesday my hands are numb. Since the weather forecast says that the mercury will fall further,  so to help you out we are here we have 2 Winter looks for you.

One is a duster coat look and the other is a poncho look. Duster coats are practical, smart and we just cant do without them, this winter because they are an on trend piece of clothing.

If you’re looking for  boho vibe, skip the jacket and make a poncho your go-to layering piece. You can wear with  jeans and a tee or turtleneck, it’s cozy and comfortable.

P wore a duster jacket with a lace panelled t shirt and jeans with combat boots. Now that winters are at their peak you can wear turtle necks or jumper below to keep you  warm

S layered a poncho over a black sweater and wore it with jeans and knee high boots. All warped up, perfect for the weather.

Its’s time to ring in the New Year and why not do that in style !

If there’s one night where you have all the right to steal the spotlight then it’s New Year’s Eve. Whether you’ve planned a big night out or you’re sticking to family and friends at home , embrace the opportunity to dress up.

If you still haven’t planned what to wear, head up to your wardrobe right now or just go shopping party girl. A new year deserves a new outfit!

One of our favourite trends of this season is the obsession with cape sleeves and thats what we have picked for the much awaited glam night.

P wore a pleated black jumpsuit. She  kept the outfit minimal and accessorized it with embellished earrings and block heels. She took a burnt orange bag to complete her look and add a pop of colour.

S wore a metallic gold skirt with a black cape blazer and she added a belt to give definition to her outfit. She also wore the much celebrated winter trend -velvet booties.

How are doing?

Don’t you think that Delhi weather is too unpredictable; its chilly early morning, then hot in the afternoon and then chilly again by evening. Summer to winter transitional phase is still going on and we’re unable to pack our beautiful summer dresses and make space for winter stuff. For now we’ve decided to just let them be as any ways they don’t occupy much space, so that we can pair them up with winter accessories and boots.

Transitional dressing can be tricky but by incorporating your warm-weather essentials into your fall rotation, you can reap maximum benefit from the investment in your clothes.

There are many ways to style your summer dresses. You can layer it with coats or shrugs. Add stockings and accessories, or just wear them like P and S wore.

P wore a solid white dress with black ankle boots. This look its all about how you style your scarf. She draped a quirky elephant print pink scarf around her and knotted it in front.

S wore a floral dress with a summer scarf and knee length boots. This works best for the morning, but in the evening you can layer it with a shrug or coat so that you don’t feel cold.

Wear your heart on your sleeve!

How are you doing?

It’s fall out there but it seems like the spring trends are here to stay. The sleeves and the shoulders were the centers of attention this year. Looks like your shoulders won’t be the focus anymore because of the chilly weather so now its time for the sleeves to shine.

From tops to sweaters, summer dresses to knitted dresses they have been everywhere. And we cant complain, since its our favorite trend too.

Whether its a ruffle bell sleeve, baby bell sleeves or the dramatic over sized sleeve; its time to wear it all.

P wore a bell sleeve shirt with cool distressed denims and metallic loafers. She accessorized with a metallic candy bag and added a small tassel at the last hook of the shirt. The key to the look is to keep your clothing simple and combine it with metallics. For plus size women  this rend is a boon- the silhouette draws all the attention from the arms and doesn’t make them look fat.

Try and wear full or three fourth sleeves rather than elbow-sleeves as the later makes arms look fat. P’s look is perfect to wear in the evening or for an intimate dinner.

S wore a ruffled mid length top with distressed denims, but she accessorized it in a sporty way by opting for a sling bag and white superstar sneakers. S’s look is perfect for airports, vacations, colleges etc. Its important to balance the over sized proportions with slightly fitted jeans. Avoid baggy or flared jeans.

This Wednesday we are going green.

Even though the majority of the 2016 pallete celebrates calmness with rose quartz and serenity. We still cant avoid the importance of the natural hue green. The colour has its own radiance and openness, that makes the outfit stand out immediately. The shade that we cant seem to ignore at all is the mineral colour emerald green.

P decided not to wear a full green. Instead, she choose to incline towards the blue family and wore a printed green-blue dress. Her look is Bohemian, relaxed and casual. This tassel dress with tie up espadrilles are a good option for going to college or a casual day out.

Its good to wear a printed dress if you are plus sized as it draws attention towards the prints and take away the attention from the curves making you look slimmer.

And there is no denying that to accentuate your curves, body hugging clothes are the best.

S wore a green solid romper: it’s chic and classy, perfect to wear to a party. The key to ace the party look is the makeup. So, if you keep the makeup minimal you can also wear the same romper in the day for shopping or brunch.

Day to night: Casual to Party

Hello Fashionlovers,

How is this Wednesday morning treating you? Are you lazy or pepped up because it’s already mid week.

Today our post is about styling your look from Day to night. With Zara and H&M updating there collection every week, I am sure we don’t need it. But its definitely helpful when its month end or there is a time crunch and you cant step out for shopping.

I know I know; such situations are encountered very less because we always have our credit card handy; but there is a way to get more than one outfit out of your favorite piece of clothing without burning a hole in your pocket.

P styled her white dress for a casual day out with friends and converted it into the perfect outfit for a night out with girls just by changing her accessories and adding some layers.

Also, today is the first time you won’t see our look together. You’ll see P’s look today and S’s look on next Wednesday.

For the day Look:

P wore a olive asymmetric shrug over the white dress with white sneakers and accessorized with an over-sized tote bag. A look you can carry for a casual day out, or for a fun walk, even for a lazy Sunday morning.

For makeup, keep it minimal, preferably nude lips and an eyeliner. Just try and play with your hair by making a side bride and tucking it on the other side of the head to make it look like a hairband.

For the night look:

P added a printed ankle length cape to change her look from day to night. She added a bold clutch, as there’s nothing that elevates your look faster than a fabulous bag. The nude pep toes pump make her instant ready for the night out.

For makeup tuck your hair to one side and add some red to your lips and you are good to go.

In this complicated lifestyle there is something reassuring about the the simple black and white. Its’s modern, cool yet edgy but never on the face. It combines calmness and serenity with sophistication and sleekness.  Its also a fresh start to the monochromes. Coming out from the dual tone and finally abiding by the meaning.

All Black is a classic, it can never ever go out of fashion. What’s new in the house of fashion is the much celebrated All White look.

P wore a white on white or an all white. This summer inspired trend is not going anywhere for sure. All-white is incredibly fresh,refined, elegant and luxurious. It has all the qualities to make us love the look. Her look screams boho. Wavy hair, embroidered tie up white dress with embellished sandals. To add to the boho element are the silver spiked hoops making it perfect for a vacation look or a casual day out.

To look effortlessly chic yet classy you have to go the all black way. The look sported by S, its simple and clean yet out there. She wore a black crop top with a black pleated trouser and bomber jacket and accessorized it with black pumps and metallic clutch. All black combined with pleats please is the best way to wear the 2 biggest trend of the season.To give her look a lift S added a twisted pony tail which  adds a fun element to her party look.

There is no rule on when to wear the look. You can wear a all white in day or at night. Also all black is definitely not bound by any rule.

In case you are confused on what to wear. I would say it depends on your eating habbits (pun intended). If you dont want to think  about where you sit, what you eat, what you drink just choose black. Ok no seriously, just go by your style and choose what you like.

Hello guys! How are you doing? This time we bring to you a free of season style if in case you are not a fan of Delhi rains we have something to pep up your monsoon mood with our quirky clothing.

We already told you the mantra to dressing up this season is to wear your hearts on your sleeve. Be it quotes or emoji’s or paints, it’s time to paint the town as per your mood and style. COOL is the new edgy this season.  After the emojification of texts, it’s time for exmojification of fashion and trust S. You can’t beat her when it comes to describing emotions with emoji’s.

From sweatshirts to dresses, from street style to runway and celebrities to fast fashion; it’s just everywhere. In fact brands that have aced this concept are Zara, Forever 21 etc.

P chose an extremely casual college look. She wore a boyfriend shirt with cactus, Milano Collection Zara Denims. Criss Cross platforms and the transparent bag are a must have to accentuate the look and are also perfect to wear in monsoon. It Saves you from the dirt sticking to your feet and no worries about anything harming your bag as its made from plastic.

As we told you S is the biggest fan of Emoticons. She chose a “No bad vibes” Zara dungaree with pop corns and rolling eyes. Literally her favorite things. The crisp white shirt and sneakers gives an edge to the look.

So girls, we would advise you to try this look for sure. Paint it yourself or attach the patches, if you cant find them in stores anymore. Just dont miss out on this trend.

Our last post was a casual take on fashion. Today we are back with an all shiny and glam look, solving your problem of what to wear to an upcoming party or event.

The calendar is full of events to celebrate and parties to hit, and some fashion inspiration is required. So, to make your task easy we decided to help you kick it up on your next night out with your besties or romantic dinner with your better half! P had a chic sophisticated look perfect for a regular cocktail or a kicked party. The ‘peek – a – boo’ key – hole black gown with studded tassel earrings and a shoulder bag accompanied with minimal makeup and wavy hair make it a perfect choice for the classy outfit.

To stand out from the cocktail party crowd S’s choice is perfect, ditch the classic black and go for a maroon or burgandy. S wore a one shoulder high slit dress with tassel earrings. What better way to express yourself than the slogan clothing! Whether it’s to prove your point or a sarcastic gesture, all you need is slogan fashion. Fun, youthful, and quirky, it is the hottest fad in current fashion.
It’s best for self expression as you don’t have to walk around telling people how confident and fabulous you are, when your clothes can say it for you.

We had a very casual look in mind. P wore “I am not a morning person” fit and flare dress which completely describes her. She actually swears by this quote! She combined her look with a t-shirt and cap toe sneaker. Perfect for a morning walk!

S wore the much in trend maxi top “No photos please” which is clearly an irony seeing as S always loves getting clicked. She wore knee ripped denims with it and combined it with a candy yellow bag. Her look is perfect for a casual day out.

 

This fad definitely needs a try. Wear it with a pencil skirt for a feminine and chic look or wear it with ripped denims for a sporty look.
